HAMAP-Humanitaire has been proud to work with Ambrelia since 2016!
Ambrelia is an insurance brokerage specialising in international mobility, founded by Stephane Lorey in 2012. Its role is to advise its clients on insuring and protecting staff on assignment abroad, covering health costs, repatriation assistance and crisis management. Ambrelia is committed to supporting NGOs such as HAMAP-Humanitaire in helping people in difficulty in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Throughout the year it assists HAMAP-Humanitaire by finding insurance solutions for its new activities, as it did last September when Ambrelia found a way to insure HAMAP's local staff in Iraq responsible for clearance operations.
As well as HAMAP-Humanitaire, Ambrelia supports clients such as Alima, Handicap International and International Impact at annual events and projects. For its founder Stephane Lorey, one aim is to support their clients through sporting challenges, such as the ascent of Mont Blanc in 2019 in support of Premiere Urgence Internationale. One of the company's next steps will be to prepare a fine sporting challenge in support of one of its clients.
It was also important to Ambrelia to formalise a corporate social responsibility approach, in order to improve the good practices already in place, develop those it might be missing, and communicate about it so that the approach is visible to all its partners, with the aim of inspiring the people it works with every day and encouraging them to adopt the same approach.
