International solidarity NGO
From securing land to access to water, we have been at work since 1999.
Who we are
Founded in 1999, HAMAP-Humanitaire is a French international solidarity NGO. We work in 21 countries along two lines: humanitarian mine action, and access to water and sanitation. Our conviction: strengthening the skills of local communities so that they become self-reliant.

What sets us apart
SUPPORTING LOCAL SKILLS MEANS BUILDING TODAY THE LASTING SOLUTIONS OF TOMORROW!
For 27 years, strengthening the skills of local actors has been at the heart of our work. Our aim is not only to carry out clearance operations or to build water and sanitation networks, but to enable communities and local actors to take over independently, safely and for the long term.
A comprehensive and lasting approach
Our capacity building work is part of an approach that localises aid and builds self-reliance, placing local actors at the heart of the solutions.

Gifts go directly to field projects: access to safe drinking water, sanitation, humanitarian mine action and local capacity building.
Our projects are covered by monitoring and evaluation indicators that measure concrete results for communities: safety, access to resources and improved living conditions.
Every project is monitored through quantitative and qualitative indicators, to assess results, adjust activities and ensure their effectiveness over time.
Working with local actors ensures projects that fit the ground, last over time and are led by the communities themselves.
