WASH context

BURKINA FASOAccess to drinking water in schools

In the commune of Ouéléni, in the peri-urban area of Koudougou, HAMAP-Humanitaire is improving access to water and sanitation for the people of 17 surrounding villages.

The project includes building water supply systems, drilling boreholes, running hygiene awareness sessions and training management committees.

ACTING FOR WATER
IN BURKINA FASO

In the commune of Ouéléni and its 17 surrounding villages, HAMAP is building drinking water supply systems and drilling boreholes.

Hygiene awareness sessions are held and management committees are trained to keep the infrastructure maintained over the long term.

The project is run in partnership with the town of Autun in France and the local association ACD.
