Holding our course in turbulent times
Sahel, Ukraine, Middle East: international tensions have been building for three years. The announced 30% cut in French public development aid is forcing NGOs to diversify their funding and to rethink their internal models in order to protect their impact.
Our strategy for the years ahead
HAMAP-Humanitaire is focusing its work on its fields of expertise (Mine Action, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) while exploring related projects such as agriculture and the inclusion of young people. Training local actors and helping them become self-reliant remains the thread running through everything we do.
Countries of operation in 2024
Tunisia, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Haiti, Mauritania, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Guinea Conakry, Benin, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Comoros, Madagascar, India, Laos and Cambodia. 17 countries, several of them in a deteriorated security context.
