Looking back at the beginning
Born in 1999 under the name HAMAP – Demineurs sans frontieres, HAMAP-Humanitaire was founded by a handful of friends with the aim of fighting anti-personnel mines. The NGO gradually broadened its work to cover access to water, sanitation, education and health.
2019 in the field
Present in 14 countries across 4 continents, HAMAP-Humanitaire's teams and local partners ran projects in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, with community self-reliance and local capacity building as the priority.
