After the project was selected for funding by the Pierre Fabre Foundation, the first operational activities are ready to begin.
The schedule provides for equipment to be sent by container. An appeal for donations has been launched among nurses to collect medical equipment.
The equipment collected is taken to the premises of the Fathers of Saint Jacques in Guiclan, in the Cotes d'Armor. A pump and a generator complete the set.
Once reconditioned, all that remains is to wait for the container to leave for the Caribbean. That is not the simplest of matters given the worsening security situation in Haiti. After several delays caused by the security climate in Haiti, the container left for the Caribbean on 24 November.
Thank you to all the donors, to the transport company that carried a batch from Lyon, to the team from Martigues who travelled to Brittany, and to the PHI35 team who kindly transported their donations!
