Within the decentralised cooperation policy entered into by the Adour-Garonne water agency with the Palestinian Water Authority, HAMAP Humanitaire handles the administrative, financial and operational follow-up of the work undertaken in water and sanitation in the West Bank.

Aims of the mission:

  • Signing the new 2016 cooperation agreement between PWA and AEAG
  • Signing the PWA/CUF/HAMAP-Humanitaire agreement on the maintenance of the COOPALE.org website
  • Continuing the feasibility study for the creation of treatment plants for the Bethlehem urban area.
  • Continuing the REUSE study (reuse of wastewater for agriculture)
  • « Renewable Energies » study co-funded by AEAG and AFD
  • Briefing the official French bodies: French Embassy, Cooperation and Cultural Action Service (SCAC) and AFD.
