Water, biodiversity and adaptation to climate change in northern Madagascar

The project

THE CONTEXT

A preliminary project supported by the Artois-Picardie Water Agency made it possible to launch activities with local stakeholders between 2022 and 2023, gain a better understanding of the region’s specific characteristics, and develop a strategy tailored to the local context in the municipality of Andranovondronina. A three-year program was formalized with the goal of improving access to basic services, establishing strong local governance, and implementing measures to protect resources and combat climate change.
