Water and sanitation
Today, more than 2 billion people in the world do not have access to drinking water and sanitation. HAMAP-Humanitaire works to improve access to water and sanitation for vulnerable populations by building wells, catchments, water networks, individual latrines, and sanitary blocks for schools.
Each project also includes an awareness-raising component on the use of water and hygiene and training of technical advisors to ensure the sustainability of the project.
