Rural communes of Tamezmoute
The rural commune of Tamezmoute is located in the province of Zagora in the South East of Morocco. In this commune, we will intervene in 2 Douar (Ighrem eand Tamezmoute) which include several villages. The area is characterized by the isolation of the villages away from the roads. Access to health care in this area poses several problems, particularly with regard to the health of women and children.
Objective
Support for local health development to improve the living conditions of the population
- Free medical consultations with distribution of prescription drugs. Referral to a partner establishment if needed for specialized advice.
- Nursing care
- Awareness and education on public health issues: personal and dental hygiene, contraception...
- First aid training for the premises
- Training of teachers in first aid with the creation of a pharmacy in the schools with the necessary products
- 11 697 inhabitants
- 15-day mission
- About 700€ (without plane)
