Morocco - Demnate - Health missions
Azilal province and Tifni
While administrative health structures are located in all districts of Morocco, health professionals prefer to settle in cities and tourist areas.
The countryside and mountainous areas are under-equipped in terms of personnel and equipment. Some villages are more than 4 hours away from a dispensary.
Objective
Build local capacity to facilitate access to care for disadvantaged populations.
- Medical consultations, nursing care and delivery of medicines in mobile caravans
- Detection of chronic pathologies (diabetes, goiter...) implementation of a follow-up
- Awareness and/or learning of hygiene rules for women and children
- Inhabitants of village and women and children in priority
- 15-day missions
- About 700€ (without plane)
