It is currently working on a training-of-trainers project and on a project to build or rehabilitate sanitation blocks in schools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission dates:<\/strong>  from 15 to 30 January 2016<\/p>\n<p><strong>Members of the delegation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Catherine GASTAUD<\/strong>  and  <strong>Jean Francois BRULEY<\/strong>  volunteers,  <strong>Louisette LE FERS<\/strong>  co-lead for HAMAP Humanitaire&#039;s education work<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aims of the mission:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Following up how the 5 literacy centres are running:<\/strong>  monitoring the pupils, meeting the teachers, the parents and the education inspectors to follow up and set up training for the teachers, buying school supplies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting the sponsored pupils in Year 7<\/strong> , their parents, the coordinator and the head of the school, and following up their results; buying books.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Checking the school built in 2015 and its inauguration.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting AMUS<\/strong>  (association Les Mains Unies du Sahel) and the local authorities on the progress of the school sanitation block project (site visits)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting the director of the centre of the Brothers of the Holy Family<\/strong>  to sign an agreement on rehabilitating the sanitation blocks and on taking in children leaving primary school at the centre<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting ASD<\/strong>  (Actions Solidaires pour le Developpement) to sign the agreement on the training of trainers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_4261\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a class=\"wplightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/hamap-humanitaire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_5369.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4261\" class=\"https:\/\/hamap-humanitaire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_5369.jpg\" title=\"https:\/\/hamap-humanitaire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_5369.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/hamap-humanitaire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_5369.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4294\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-4261\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Inauguration of the Kokologo school in the presence of the parish representative and local residents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For 7 years HAMAP-Humanitaire and its Burkinabe partners have run an education project for out-of-school children in the Boulkiemde region.
